These valves finds huge applications in various gas cylinders like Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen, Helium, Hydrogen, Acetylene, Carbon dioxide etc. There are various kinds of valves available depending upon their inlet and outlet thread size, gas type, working pressure and operational procedures. These valves are made as per Indian standard IS: 3224 and are duly approved by CCOE and BIS. As per CCOE and BIS, different types of gases having different types of basic nature (Toxic/Flammable/Inert) must be filled in a cylinder fitted with valve having different type of outlet threads. Like Valves for Inert gases must have different outlets threads then valves for Flammable gases or Toxic gases. The basic material used for manufacturing of valves is Brass or Steel depending upon the gas for which it is supposed to be used.

Axcel Gases provides various types of gas cylinders valves. These valves are made on high precision machines using advanced technology. Each valve is pneumatically tested for its test pressure @1.5 times of the working pressure. The working pressure can be 200 Kg/Cm2 to 300 Kg / Cm2. The valves can be key operated or wheel type hand operated depending upon the need. We also provided MPR (Minimum Pressure Retaining) or RPV (Residual Pressure Valves ). MPR or RPV valves maintain a minimum pressure inside the cylinder and do not allow the cylinder contents to get fully empty. This kind of arrangement gives good life to cylinder as it restricts the moisture and other impurities to get inside the cylinder. Also a cylinder does not required to be treated for removal of impurities and avoids need of vacuuming or heating before filling of high purity gases.
